Recovering That Which Was Lost

In a time of prayer and meditation this morning the Lord began to speak to me that we in the body of Christ are now entering into a season of recovery. A time and season of recovery for that which has been damaged, lost, stolen, plundered and pillaged. This is a time and season of taking back what has been damaged and lost through circumstances, trauma and opposition from the enemy.
In 2 Kings 6:1-7 we read:

(1)  And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

(2)  Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.

(3)  And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

(4)  So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

(5)  But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

(6)  And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

(7)  Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

With this season of supernatural recovery and restoration we are also entering into a season of expansion. Expansion of horizons, expansion of vision and purpose.

The Webster’s dictionary defines the word restoration and

recovery as the following:

4. to put back to a former place, or to a former position, rank, etc.: to restore the king to his throne.

5. to give back; make return or restitution of (anything taken away or lost).

RECOVERY

1. to get back or regain (something lost or taken away): to recover a stolen watch.

2. to make up for or make good (loss, damage, etc., to oneself).
3. to regain the strength, composure, balance, or the like, of (oneself).

4. Law .
a. to obtain by judgment in a court of law, or by legal proceedings: to recover damages for a wrong.
b. to acquire title to through judicial process: to recover land.
5. to reclaim from a bad state, practice, etc.

This is the season to rise up and shake yourself! Shake yourself from the apathy that has tried to creep in, shake yourself from the bondages and lack that the enemy has placed on you! Rise up and press in! Press into your restoration and recovery!
